Job Summary:
The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is looking for a dynamic and energetic leader to join their Senior Executive Service (SES) Corps. The SES is comprised of the men and women charged with leading the continuing transformation of government. These leaders possess well-honed executive skills and share a broad perspective of government and a public service commitment which is grounded in the Constitution. This position is located at the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) in Washington, D.C. Under the general direction of the Deputy Chief Information Officer, the Director for Integrated Hiring Solutions is responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining government-wide integrated hiring systems to meet the needs of agencies and to ensure that these systems support agencies in recruiting, hiring and retaining the merit-based, high-quality, diverse workforce necessary to meet the needs of the American people. Furthermore, the Director is responsible and accountable for managing the organization's human, financial and other resources according to law, regulation, and public policy in order to achieve intended program results efficiently, economically, and effectively.
