Job Summary:
The incumbent serves as the Associate General Counsel (Contracts and Procurement Practice Group) and is responsible for providing legal advice and assistance to all organizational components of NASA on contracts and procurement matters, and provides legal advice regarding suspected fraud and other related irregularities in the acquisition process. Persons selected for initial appointment to the career Senior Executive Service must have their Executive Core Qualifications certified by an Office of Personnel Management Qualifications Review Board prior to appointment and will be required to serve a one-year probationary period. Veterans Preference does not apply to the Senior Executive Service.
