Job Summary:
The Deputy Associate Administrator (DAA) for Research reports directly to the Associate Administrator, Science Mission Directorate (SMD). The DAA for Research supports the SMD Associate Administrator in all programs, personnel and institutional matters by working closely with the Deputy Associate Administrator, as well as the DAA for Programs and the DAA for Management. The DAA for Research provides leadership and ensures the overall coordination of science programs inside and outside the Directorate, working closely with the Division Directors, so that SMD adheres to National, Agency and Directorate policies, guidelines and processes.
