Job Summary:

The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) is looking for a dynamic and energetic leader to join their Senior Executive Service (SES) Corps. The SES is comprised of the men and women charged with leading the continuing transformation of government. These leaders possess well-honed executive skills and share a broad perspective of government and a public service commitment which is grounded in the Constitution. This position is located in the Office of the General Counsel, Division of Enforcement Litigation. THIS POSITION IS IN THE SENIOR EXECUTIVE SERVICE (SES): This is a Career-Reserved position and therefore must be filled by a career appointee. Candidates are not required to have previous SES career service before applying. The selected candidate executive/managerial qualifications must be certified by the Office of Personnel Management prior to an initial SES career appointment. Positions in the SES are ungraded. NOTE: Current career SES members, former career SES members with reinstatement eligibility and OPM certified graduates of an SES Candidate Development Program (CDP), who meet the professional/technical qualifications requirements, may be considered for this position on a noncompetitive basis. Applicants for noncompetitive consideration are not required to submit a supplemental statement addressing their ECQs, however, they must submit a Standard Form 50, Notification of Personnel Action, to establish proof of eligibility for noncompetitive appointment; and current career SES members must also submit their most recent performance appraisal.
