Job Summary:
The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is looking for a dynamic and energetic leader to join our Senior Executive Service (SES) Corps. The Senior Executive Service (SES) is comprised of the men and women charged with leading the continuing transformation of government. These leaders possess well-honed executive skills and share a broad perspective of government and a public service commitment which is grounded in the Constitution. The Director will be responsible for leading the government-wide Human Resources Information Technology Transformation (HRITT), developing a comprehensive, long-term approach to coordinate the strategic management of human capital across the Federal government through the effective use of information technology. The HRITT Director will also provide leadership for the Enterprise Human Resources Integration (EHRI) program which is an e-Government initiative designed to leverage the benefits of information technology. With the right person at the helm, the Federal Government can achieve significant cost savings while increasing the capacity to provide outstanding HR services to recruit, retain, and honor the workforce. This position is located in OPM's Office of Planning and Policy Analysis (PPA), Human Resources Information Technology Transformation (HRITT) Division in Washington, D.C.
