The National Director for Podiatry Services is a full time position that reports to the Chief Consultant, Specialty Care Services who is located in the Office of Patient Care Services (PCS), VA Central Office (VACO), Washington, DC. The National Director for Podiatry Services provides national leadership to and has advisory and consultative responsibility for all Veterans Health Administration (VHA) podiatry services programs and initiatives. In addition, the National Director for Podiatry Services manages several specific initiatives relating to foot care and amputation and a Field Advisory Committee (FAC). The National Director for Podiatry Services collaborates with Network and Medical Center Directors to assure that top quality podiatry healthcare delivery services are made available, immediately accessible, and efficiently provided to all eligible veterans as clinically indicated.
